I love this sketch, Janette, thank you. This card is ready to drop in the post this morning...
The sentiment is:
"There are souls in this world who have the gift of
finding JOY everywhere and of leaving it behind them
when they go"
What a wonderful, positive, uplifting thought! I'll bet you thought of someone special the minute you read the quote! I hope for you all many, many others who come alongside you and drop 'joy' breaks on your path!
My card uses old stash paper, a gorgeous flocked damask paper from Making Memories, Robin's egg blue houndstooth which I dry embossed, and a bit of dictionary dp that I overstamped the definition of joy down the side. I finished it off with a wide organdy silk ribbon. Doesn't it look pretty?
Thanks so much for your comments...and I'd love to hear about someone who makes you think JOY. For me, it is my Mom...can't wait to hear what she thinks when she opens my card!

What a delight it was to see your beautiful card as I woke to check out the sketch challenge! So my first joy today is to tell you this is beautiful and your Mum will love it.

There are two particular people that I could send this off to who popped into my mind at your prompting, Susan Wonderful that your mom is such a joy in your life. This soft beauty with its warm, smiling sentiment will be one of those delightful mailbox surprises that are so rare these days.

Your cards so often have such wonderful sentiments. They are either inspiring, funny or touching. Thanks for sharing.
