But when I started to make my card in Barb's honour it became a bit more ... none vintage! I changed just about everything, but kept the idea of a couple in love.
Thanks Barb for encouraging me out of my comfort zone, so far out I nearly knocked on Susan's front door !!

Wow, how striking this is, Sandie! The way you used the two colours is very clever - love the typewrite quote sentiment, it really plays along with the image!

Sandie, I love how you were inspired by Barb's card and created your own romantic card. Dramatic in the red/white/black. Pretty sparkle with the two trios of red gems.
This is one cool card, Sandie. Glad you went out of your comfort zone because it's a beauty. Love that sentiment!
