Thanks Bridget for bringing the community our newest featured stamper, BarbieP! I enjoyed going through her gallery, especially all the masculine cards. We share a like for Tim Holtz as well.
When I got to CAS Color Block, I knew this was the one. I had the stamp sitting unlinked just above eye level in my studio and I loved the CAS style. Well, I have to agree with hobbydejour (Sallie) about not being a 'CASEer'. But Barb, I did take all of the most wonderful elements of your card!
I used the same sentiment, color blocked, and layered. I changed to use the chalkboard technique, stenciled my 'tape' mixes, and used wonky staples. I added a couple of metal stencil alphas.
Barb, I hope you enjoy your time in the spotlight. It was an honor to take inspiration from you. Blessings to you this Eastertide...Resurrection Sunday.
I appreciate all your comments...hope your day is a happy one.

What a thought provoking sentiment and as always so creatively presented and designed, Susan - the black card base makes everything else so striking! Oh, by the way, the apostrophe after your FS376 seems to be making this go into a gallery all on it's own rather than the main one, don't want everyone missing this fab card!

What an interesting and avant garde style card! I have to say that quote has caused my brain deep consideration (that's a good thing). The chalkboard style and the staples are perfect for the images and saying....Susan you blew me away with this card.
Okay, you and Barb got my attention with that message. Really makes you stop and think just what you would do.
