A quick card for this week's Peace, Love & Lava Lamps MMTPT challenge.
Gosh, I remember my dad had a lava lamp, I think my brother has it now. I didn't particularly want to use the Peace stamp that I used the last time we partied in the 60s (not enough time to colour it in, LOL), and I did want to use my new set. I was looking in a box for some denim paper, and instead came across this (so old I can't remember how I made it - inks on glossy card??) scrap which certainly reminded me of tie-dye and batik. So I used that for my pocket. The little butterfly stamp and the floral spray are from BoBunny.
I added Stickles to the flower centres and butterfly bodies.
It was meant to be a one-layer card, but I botched the stitching lines, so I trimmed a bit off, sponged the edges with purple and popped it onto a white card base.

Perfect paper for the pocket - and I like the way there is a break in the stitching to leave space for sentiments. I really like stitching on cards, but alas, that does not work for me - first of all, no machine. I never could get the hang of using one - and now I really cannot get the hang of even doing faux stitches! So I mainly enjoy them on other cards.
