I was excited when I saw Toni's (Ravengirl) Ways to Use it Challenge today, because I love this technique! (straw blowing) I think it is one of my favorites, if not favorite! :)
I had this straw blown background already because I am always playing with it, and used it on my card. I stamped the image from watercolor trio on it. Then I had to put the butterfly where I did to cover up a boo-boo. It left a lot of space above the image, but I guess you get to see more of the straw blowing technique background that way. :) Last year I even made Christmas cards using this technique! Thank you Toni! :) TFL

LOL, I knew (from the VSN) that you would certainly be up for this challenge. And I was glad that the VSN had given me some practice. What a beautifully soft background you created, a wonderful setting for the butterfly.

Beautiful card, Sharon! I haven't tried this but I love the background on your stamped image and it does even look like wind blowing. It's so soft and subtle!
