This card is for the Inspiration challenge which you’ll find in the link and the inspiration photo is in the first post.
This is also a Technique challenge called resist-resist. The directions for the technique are is in TLC57. I changed the directions just a little to suit my color scheme. I stamped the large fern in color, butt the stamp positioner up to the stamp, cleaned it and then stamped again with Versa Mark and embossed in clear embossing powder. Some of the background ferns are stamps with color, then with VM. I also did bleaching on the light color. The black speckles you see on the fern panel is embossing powder sprinkled on the c/s and heated from underneath so they won’t blow away. I did sponging on panel edge.
This card reminds me of the fancy dresses they wore on the Titanic, yeah I was there…at the movie! I was also listening to the CD while making the card.

Aside from being quite stunning and absolutely beautiful, how in the world did you do the deckled edge in white? Inquiring minds want to know. You evidentally didn't have any coffee today! After looking at this, think I'll go back and read some more "How to build your self-esteem!!

Roxie...it is beautiful and so detailed! I was wondering how you could emboss with color, so I guess I understand it now. Great card, and it does resemble one of the dresses worn by the lead actress in Titanic...I can't remember her name right now....was it Kate Blanchett?. Anyway your card is very pretty. TFS with us.
