What a surprise, when I looked through my stamps (where I am sure that I have 1 of EVERYTHING) there wasn't a tulip in sight. I had to be a little more creative. I took out the gelli plate that I bought a few months ago and never used...for the WT473 new-old challenge. Made a tulip mask from scrap paper...MIX62 challenge to use tulips. Used old acrylic paints and tried to match the CC472 colors as closely as possible. With the paper tulip on the gelli plate I added the 3 acrylic paints and then removed the tulip mask before printing. I then added a little white gesso to the green area trying to save this mess. The next salvage attempt was to add white dots with a dot stencil and white gel pen. Finally, I used my micron pens and doodled all over the flowers. Cut one leaf and oneflower out and popped them up with pop dots. Mounted on two green bkg pieces for the F4A215. TFL Francie

Totally awesome creation! I was impressed with all the gorgeous parts of this card and then I read how you did it! My, oh my, I can't even imagine doing all of those techniques and "finagling" to get it turnout. LOVE the gelli plate background and the patterns you made on your tulips. So smart of you to keep to a black & white theme on the flowers and then go wild with the pattern - very cool! And your doodling is so well done that it looks like a stamp designed by a professional. Great card! TFS
