For the background I tried the watercolor stencil resist technique. I used a blender dauber to apply the ink colors, Then I punched a fancy flower from a piece of plastic (save that packaging!!) and spritzed it with water. When I put that on the inked background, it diluted/absorbed the ink and left a bit of a watermark in the shape of the flower punch (look closely and you can see them). I did it 4-5 times all over the background. The rest is just ink, punch, assemble.

I absolutely LOVE this card. The flowers are beautiful and look stunning on that wonderful background. The glossy accents are such a great touch to your flower centers. Fabulous color combination too!
