... very afraid to try acrylic stamping! But I did it!! I mixed white & green acrylic paint & painted it onto my leaf stamps. Then I mixed red & white for the blossom & painted that onto the stamp. Add more red & painted the 2nd tulip stamp. After that dried I colored with a pink & green Crayola crayon. Then I masked off the flower & using distress ink sponged on some background color using a stencil. For the MIX62, my 3 mediums were acrylic paint, distress inks & crayons.
For the F4A Tone on Tone - my two layers are a gelli print that I did at Nancy's (stiz2003). They are a mix of white acrylic paint & a reinker. I made them at the same time but the top panel was also stenciled.
The more I'm looking at this, the more I'm liking it, but I think I'll add some pearls.
Thanks for stopping by.

Very cool looking background, it's subtle and at the same time has a lot of depth and interest because of the patterns. I'm really impressed to read the number of different products & techniques you used on this piece. Bet you had fun doing it and learned a lot at the same time. And I almost forgot to add that your tulip is fabulous! TFS
