This is my card for F4A214 which was to use circles on your back ground. Still on vacation with limited supplies and having to be resourceful. Whine. Whine.
I dug around for some circles which ended up being a drinking glass and a couple jar lids. I drew around them with a black ink pen to make the faux stitching Then I found the bush with the soft green velvety leaves and made a couple flowers. The flower centers are sea shells. I think it could use a greeting in the lower left corner, but that will have to wait until I get home.
I am enjoying myself and so happy to have time for card making too.

I want to vacation with you! And you get to be the Craft Leader....I am in AWE with your creative use of materials. You did more with a marking pen, a drinking glass and some leaves off a bush than most of can do with a whole room full of supplies. Love your faux-stitched circles and those flowers made out of leave and sea shells are so darn COOL! TFS this fun and inspiring piece.

This is so fun! Love how you search until you find something you can make work for the challenges. You get to wear the creative crown for this one!

What a resourceful and creative card! I am totally impressed! The color of the flower petals is lovely and using seashells as the centers ... another clever idea.
