The Friday Free For All Challenge, F4A214 (3/28/14), was entitled "Round & Round", and the instruction was to use circles in the background.
This card was inspired by a debossed panel with small concentric circles that was leftover from making a card earlier in the day. I was trying to figure out where to store it when I spotted a piece of dsp in my file with circles, circles and more circles. Yippee! An idea for a contemporary CAS card popped into my mind and after experimenting with many sizes of circle punches, this card came together quickly.
This piece was definitely out of my comfort zone - it uses designer paper (I collect it, rarely use it!) and it's contemporary design is not my normal style. Card challenges kick-start my creative mojo and I love when that happens, especially when it causes me to use previously unused products.
Back to cleaning my stamp room, perhaps there is another inspiration discard waiting to be discovered! Thanks for stopping by to peek at my circles card.

Lovely embossing and the circles in the corner are way cool!
