I see I sure took a crooked photo when I have to hold the easel to get decent light on this cloudy day!
My punchie friend Diane, better known to me as Quiltzi, is the newly crowned Queen! CONGRATULATIONS my friend! I'm so pleased for you! I know you will wear the crown with pride!
As always, I went to your first upload to case, Miracle of Christmas 2, seen here. I kept your mother/child theme, but changed the stamp & the colors. I also used today's MIX61 challenge, Not Monotonous to use a single color. I pushed the envelope a bit because I needed skin & hair tones, but they are a mix too.
Using Blue Bouquet DecoArt Acrylic paint, I painted the Mom's clothing. I added Not Quite Navy re-inker to darken & painted the chiar. The baby blanket is lightened with Delta Creamcoat White paint. Then I used a black Sharpie marker to redefine the lines. The skin tones are done with Spectrum Noir FS2, 3, 5 & PP1 markers. Mom & Baby's hair are done in Crayola pencils, each used 3 shades of brown. Then using a corner punch I punched all the corners. This punch reminds me of a baby's butt! Before layers I decided to sponge around the image using Bashful Blue with a Celery sponge. So there you have it.
I think I will send this to my niece for Alex's 4 month birthday!
Again, Diane, congratulations on joining the Royal family. We are proud to have you & remember to
'raize your punchez high'.
Thanks for stopping by.
