Interesting. My Oregon Ducks (originally called the "Tall Firs") went down in defeat last week to Linda's Wisconsin Badgers. So she chose March Madness as a theme?!
Okay, so last month we experienced a rare ice storm, which brought down/damaged SO many trees! It's hard to see that happening, but it's really nature's way of simplifying. Downsizing, I suppose. Prioritize, and eliminate the superfluous.

We had a pre-Christmas ice storm that 'simplified' a lot of our trees right to the ground. Looking at the bright side my garden should receive more sunlight this summer and who knows what that will bring forth! :-) I have always loved this EF but felt I would not know what to do with it. I LOVE what you did with it! Great misty colouring and thought provoking sentiment. TFS

Oh while I am sorry for the loss of your trees... I have been there and know it's almost a grieving for them... but I sure love your card! I have the ef and have never used it! Thanks for the inspiration and for the take away as well! Perhaps we all need a good ice storm in our craft rooms! LOL! I know I do! Here's to simplifying!!!

What a great sentiment. So sorry about the loss of your trees. We had a storm years ago that just saddened us all at the tremendous loss of Spring trees that had bloomed and broke in half!! Awful. Your card however is uplifting in its simplicity (can I say that?)!

I love that folder and your tall pines! The hint of color looks awesome on these! It reminds me of the stately trees on a bicycle ride up Washington pass! Great card, Brenda!

Perfect design to showcase the trees. Love how you have colored them. It sure has been a winter of damaging weather across the nation. Yes, I 'm commenting on the cards as I watch the Badgers play Baylor. They are having a much easier time than they did against your Ducks. Interesting fact about their original name. Thanks for playing in the challenge Brenda.
