Here is a thank you card I made for my Mom using this weeks color, sketch and try a new technique challenges as well as Lydia's Gel Printing Basic tutorial.
The thank you to my Mom is for purchasing the Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate for me last weekend when we were shopping at one of our favorite local craft shops.
Whisper White base layered with Strawberry Slush and my "designer paper" created using the gel pad. Best Blossoms flower and leaf used for the no line piercing water colored with Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding. Added the ribbon treatment above and below the oval for the sketch challenge and the twine bow with black flower to get three of the six colors for the color challenge. Thanks for stopping by!

Great card! I was admiring that lovely motley background as I was reading - you did it with the Gelli plate!!!! I just watched a video on that and your card is the first "real" sample I've seen. Love it! Really like the colors you chose, nice result. And your pierced flower is fun, too! TFS!

Ooh, lucky you! How sweet of your mother to buy you the gelli plate. Lovely soft colours in both that and your pierced image, and the sort of folded, pleated look to the ribbon just adds to the softness.
