I made this card for the Sketch Challenge SC481 (3/26/14). The original sketch was in landscape setting and was flipped to portrait for this card.
My husband was needing a couple of thank you cards to use this weekend and this sketch challenge finally got me inspired to get the cards made. I wanted to make something really girly and frilly and at the same time keep it clean and simple.
Oh boy, if you could see the froo-froos that got added and removed from this card...the pile left on my table is embarrassing! No pearls, no sparkly tulle, no multiple roses, no colored layers...what remained was what you see.
Hope it's girly enough to please the ladies who will receive it. Perhaps I can add a little somethin'-somethin' on the inside to surprise them!
Thanks for stopping by to look at my Paper Posie!

You know the saying "Less is More"? In this case, I like the less.....a whole lot! I love your stitched bg and 1 flower speaks volumes over many~ A very special card for some special ladies, I'm sure~

What a stunning CAS creation! I love how the bg looks quilted! This really popped out of the gallery for me, all the white space with the pop of beautiful colour in your pretty pink rose and greenery!
