Way back in 2003 we made a kind of bookmark you can see in the left upper corner.
It is made with two circles folded in half and glued back together in a corner, and then decorated.
You can take it off and then you get a normal square card, with on the front a telescoping part as embellishment.

The Background paper that I used on the front of the square card is from and old Sizzix pack : little Sizzles " Rainbow".
The corners are from Marianne Design : LR0144 and sponged with Distress Ink : "Mowed Lawn".
For the telescoping part I used both circle dies from Spellbinders and Nellie Snellen.
The image is from one of my favorite artists :Rene Cloke.
It took quite some time to do the 7 layers of fussy cutting.
As for further embellishments I used little pieces of green ribbon and yellow little pearls on the bookmark.

What a wonderful card. I love how the circles are layered. Beautiful colours and flowers too. Thanks for playing along with us this week at One Stitch at a Time. Good luck in our challenge.
