This is my card for this week’s CC471. I am your hostess and I have chosen a medley of colors for our challenge. I really like all the colors in the SU “sweet sorbet” dsp so I chose all of them. You can pick 3 to work with or use all 6 of them.
My card started with the “sweet sorbet” dsp which I used for the card bg. I am making this card for my 16 year old niece so I wanted it to be a little trendier. The layout from this week’s Viva la Verve sketch was perfect for a teenage girl card.
The angled panel is pool party and I used the SU chrvron embossing folder. My bg black circle is cut with the MFT dizzy doily die.
Sentiment is from the Tim Holtz set "good thoughts". Stamped in black and added to a Spellbinders labels 8 die cut in pistachio pudding.
Added a feather cut in black from an Impression Obsession die and some pool party ribbon to complete my card.
That’s my card for this week. Hope you can play along with us. You may be our next color challenge fave and be featured on our popular Color Challenge Pinterest board. Check it out here.
