This week's CAS challenge is to add a die cut to color blocking. Maybe it's because we're in the process of choosing paint for a room, but I decided to turn to my stash of paint chips for a pre-made color-blocked element. This is a Martha Stewart chip with little strips of accent colors. I made the butterfly a while ago, mixing plain and embossed paper to get a little texture, and white seemed like a good choice with this card.
I stamped a flourish on the back of the paint chip and pierced through to give a little butterfly flightpath. (You can see I chose selected lines of the stamp, as that would be one dizzy butterfly to fly all those lines.) Not entirely sure this counts for the TLC this week, but let's see what the challenge police say.

I don't see how it could be wrong for the TLC since I said that stamping a vine or a flourish was fine ;-D. And the piercing looks great through the paint chip! I know it says Heather Field but it sure reminds me of lavender - an extra bonus!!
