Congratulations Penny (Penny Ward) on becoming our newest featured stamper. I loved looking through your beautiful gallery. Many of the cards are clean and simple. I find these the hardest to make. I tried to keep mine CAS. I used the same penny black image "Tom and Tilly". I have had this image coloured for over a year and a half - and tonight was the perfect time to use it. I layered the image with black, grey and silver papers. Sewed around the image panel. Stamped on the sentiment from Stampin Up's Well Scripted set. Added the metal photo corners and applied diamond stickles to to babies breath.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight Penny. Thanks for the inspiration.

Where to begin?!? I love Tom & Tilly also...and real stitching on any card always makes me swoon. Never thought of using metal photo corners on a card (thanks for the idea). Your take on my card is superb!!!
