After yesterday's hideous card I am trying again. I used a WHOLE bunch of stuff. Gelatos for my bg, inktense pencils to color my bird, distress inks for the blue and green. Don't forget the modpodge. I like this one better than yesterday's, but I still have to practice if I want to get good at this. Thanks for looking!! :>)

I really really love this one! I didn't think the other one was hideous, though. (You are too hard on yourself, like a lot of us.) That is a beautiful stamp (I may just have to buy one myself!), and I love the way you have chosen to approach it by coloring the sparrow in a very precise way and letting the coloring on the rest of the card be very loose and free. Just lovely!

I didn't see your card from yesterday, but just taking a quick peek in the main gallery before bed, this one just popped out of the screen. Of course I love birds anyway! I like the freeform shape of the bird panel and the background colours.

Gee, I haven't seen the hideous one yet, but you must have really gotten better overnight, because this is fabulous! Love the mix of colors with your awesome background and how you blended the colors from image to bg. Love this!
