This is for MIX 60 - The printed word. I did use a piece of a page from a book but I also decided to have type or writing on everything other element as well. So my silhouetted flower buds have type on them, the strip running across does, and the BG is a CAC BG stamp called Script. Okay, the brad doesn't have any text, just dots. Thanks for this fun challenge. I ordinarily would have stamped a piece of type for that vertical piece, but the actual book page gives it a whole different look.

I love this, Robin! What a great idea using script on all your wonderful layers! Love the white script on the silhouette stamp too. What a creative layout!

Argh - I have to use my CAC script more, I think I've only used it twice since I got it. I love that you had those wordy tulips to incorporate with the text paper and script background - it unifies the whole card so wonderfully. And that brad is fabulous!!

Awesome! Love that you used text on all the layers, those tulips are so cool! And the background layer is GORGEOUS!

Rachel, this is a wonderful card with so much interest! I love all the different typed and script fonts. It's also a very nice layout. So glad I've had a chance to see your card. : )
