This is a card I made for an online card class I'm participating in. The focus of the class is one layer cards. This lesson demonstrated blending alcohol markers on vellum and placing it behind die cuts to add color to a one layer card.
I wasn't sure how well the heavy wc paper die cut, but it really came out beautifully. I covered the die cut with Wink of Stella and placed it back into the negative space, working from the inside of the card. I added dots of adhesive to the back of the die cut and placed the colored vellum over it. I taped the edges of the vellum down and lined the inside of the card front with lightweight white cs. I wish you could see this IRL, it's really pretty with all the sparkle!
As always, thanks for looking!

This is incredible! Love the colored vellum behind the die cut, you did a beautiful work on picking colors. And the die cut itself is gorgeous, I can see a tiny bit of sparkle from the Wink of Stella and I know from experience how fabulous it looks IRL (and impossible to photograph!) Great card and definitely a CAS Fav of the Week!
