Peggy gave us some wonderful colors which would work well for a masculine card:
Baked Brown Sugar
Neutrals of choice
This will be a birthday card for an avid, world-wide birder friend of mine. I like the birds on cards that I send to him and his wife to be as accurately colored as I can. I got out my “Guide to North American Birds” for this one. : ) I also depicted a pair of geese since they mate for life. The dessert of “coloring” worked perfectly for this card. The background was done with a brayer and some Copic “scribbles”.

This is amazing, Sallie! That brayered background, I would never have guessed that. WOW, no lines, no break in color- perfectly done. The coloring on the geese is SO realistic. I have this set and it is still sitting unused. Your card is such an inspiration to try. Copic scribbles? Only you could have pulled that one off!
