FUN technique in the MIX challenge! And staples for the F4A ... thanks ladies!
Background was made using the MIX challenge technique - bag it! I used dress pattern paper. I layered bunches of the stuff, adhering each layer to another using Golden's matt medium. Lost count of all the paints I used ... having way too much fun .... but they were by Golden and Lumiere. Also used the TH distress inks. After the paints were dry, using a palette knife, I added Golden's Clear Tar Gel and Glass Bead Gel .. just here and there which gave it the coolest glow irl.
The image panel are just some of my practice pieces of fused glass...I'm learning my new kiln. I was gonna toss them, figuring they are scrap, but a friend said she wanted them so I thought it would be fun to give them to her on a card rather than just tossed in a bag. Sentiment is stapled on and then added another staple.

Mary Ann, your talent in so many art medias really has me in awe. First, I LOVE those glass pieces with their shapes and colors. The rich, metallic bg you created is exquisite, yet doesn't distract from your lovely glass. It fantastic how you can combine your various arts.

The combination of layers of paper and colour has made a totally amazing background. Combined with your equally amazing fused glass so-called scraps, this is like a little piece of art. It reminds me of when we visited a glass jewellery studio in Corfu last year.
