I ( and I can't figure out why ) have troubles making " Man " cards. So I hardly have any on file, so when I saw today's great CAS challenge it reminded of that. so I got up for the challenge..;0). It ended up nice and simple...lol...would take a normal person like 20 minutes,,,still took me like about 3 hours...lol.
we have been decluttering the house a bit and I was going through old deck of cards, and liked this cute pup so kept this old deck and thought I would try it for me "Guy " card....So I found a die that just fit and I could not find a color paper to work behind for a frame to I sponged the edge and when going through my stash saw this bag of leaves I had and thought it might work good just with the look. I put just for you so it could be used for different needs, as not sure who its destined for yet..:0). The wood bg is one of my favs....I know there is a touch of red in the leaf and blue in the sky , but I hope it is still CAS enough , as used to CAS being lots of white, and hope the bit of color is O.K.
|Thanks all for the visit...and have a good day..:0)...HUGS

I love the soft look of sponged edges, Wendy! Perfect manly card using one in your deck! I like the added leaf since there is a bit of red in the image.....goes so well for a guy card too! I'd rather be making feminine cards, but with 3 sons and 2 grandsons, I don't always have a choice! Sigh...

A card in a card...how cool is that. I love the background and it's a super, masculine creation.

Wow....for someone who doesn't do masculine cards well, you put together an absolute beauty, Wendy! Just the right combination of design elements. My DB and DSIL have a Springer Spaniel named Matilda-Louise and I love her to bits!! TFS!
