Today I was looking at Audrie's (aka girlgeek101) sample card for the Inspiration Challenge and I went to visit her gallery and looked at some of her fun inchie samples. I did not use an inchie for this, but made a faux one by layering cardstock to build up depth on the Serendipity Background square. I had one little one inch square piece left from Monday's Technique challenge. I used Audrie's card here:
as inspiration. I did not keep with the same colors but used the sketch design and the idea of the ocean. My Soft Sky layer is actually four layers of CS with the top layer cut into pieces randomly and then I filled in the space between the pieces with silver EP to mimic the Kinsukuroi technique for yesterday's MIX challenge. I painted Twinkling H2O onto this piece to give it some shimmer... like sunlight on water.
Like my other two cards for today's challenge, I used the Bondi Blue at Polyvore for inspiration!

Oh wow!!! What an utterly wonderful way to use up your last little square - giving it centre stage. Great take on the MIX challenge too, picking up on the silver in your serendipity piece. I've been away from home since Fri morning, so I'm hoping to catch up on that some time this week...
