The statue of liberty always makes me think of New York, so I printed a picture of the statue and coloured it with Kaszazz Alcohol Markers and double layer foam taped it to the front of this card. The sun-rays represent the American Flag because to me New York is always one of the first places I think of when I think of America - even though I lived in Wisconsin for a year!! The "stamp" in the corner represents 2 things - the Statue of Liberty being sent to America and the icon that the Statue is to travellers to New York.

Wonderful sunburst background to add your stripes to this super card for our NYC tea-party. As we often visit Paris I keep meaning to look up the "other" Statue of Liberty, but haven't done it yet!

Love how the rays represent the flag. How clever to print off the Statue of Liberty. I live in Canada (my family all live in the US) and I love anything to do with the Statue and the Flag.
