Hello friends,
started off making a sheet of "marbled" blue paper by using aqua, royal, and silver paint sponged on then taking a feather, I made my gold lines (learned that marbling technique in Tole painting). I punched my butterflies out of this sheet. My background was done with aqua, royal, silver paint as well but this time I had a grid under and put the paint on thick like paste. I sprayed it with a shimmer ink then after it dried I dry brushed white at the top then added some coral and some gold, all applied dry brush style.
I cut the pot out of decorative paper then applied a thick layer of crackle medium and let dry then made it crack more by bending it. Then applied gold paint to it with my finger and rubbed it in to the cracks and wiped off the excess, (unfortunately, you can't really see it very well). The branches and flowers are also die cut and added a bit of gold Liquid Pearls to centers.
Lastly I added fiber to the bottom and sequins all over. The pot and butterflies are all popped up.
Thanks for looking!
