This is for today's Free For All... to use sequins! How fun! I used these pretty irredescent flower sequins to create bee trail for my honey card.
This is also for LOVEFEST2014C hosted by Taylored Expressions. We were to doodle something on our cards. I doodle drew the honey drips on the jar and also the puddle of honey. Hope that counts!
I am sneak peeking more fun stamps to be released tomorrow from Our Daily Bread designs. I used Sweeter than Honey for the image and sentiment and the new Honeycomb background. The designer paper is also releasing tomorrow and is called Blooming Garden Collection.
I stamped my honey jar and stick and colored with copics, then stamped the jar again on acetate and cut out. I drew in some spillage at the top of the jar and colored a bit of honey at the bottom of the stick, then added 2 coats of Glossy Accents. I love how it came out!
The honeycomb panel is clear embossed using the Honeycomb bg on So Saffron, then I sponged with distress inks to add a little color, clear embossed over the entire thing to give a shine (it's full of honey) lol. I also used a new Honeycomb Mini and stamped around the edges of my main image panel. This was a fun project and while I don't use sequins often, I love this little trail my bee is leaving! Thanks for the fun challenge!!!
