Wow - 9 years of WT challenges: so I made an anniversary card for Michelle's fun challenge today to using something from a calendar - numbers, months, a date, a grid - on our cards.
I hope I can still find it in June ;-).
Hard to see in the photo but it is scored with double lines along the top and bottom.
I used two sizes of Spellbinders die and cut several hearts from white card, and one from a calendar with our anniversary date. The two red ones are embossed with Textile ef, sponged with reds, edged with a leafing pen and embossed.
The little bird ones are embossed with Birds & Swirls. I coloured the birds and swirls with Sakura glaze pens to act as a resist, and then sponged.
I tried using a music embossing ef, but as soon as I started sponging colour on it tore, and I wanted to include music so I stamped that one, and a script one.
The date is popped up on foam.
Make a date to celebrate with the WTUI challenge this week .

Oh, Sabrina, do I ever love this one with all the meaningful bits and bobbles...that textile ef is my very favorite. The love birds so tender and such a part of what you love...the pretty bit of musical score and then the calendar date...wonderfully inspired. Happy early anniversary!!!

Oh, Sabrina, you sound like me. Sometimes I can't find those cards that I made well in advance. : ) Beautiful CAS card with all the various patterned hearts and the love theme for an anniversary card.
