I think this little house is so adorable. I love all the little stitches on the stones. I didn't do those, but did put together a card that I think I will never give away. I love it.
I started with a brick embossed piece of CS glued to black CS. I inked the embossing folder with Ranger DIstressed Walnut Stain before embossing. Next I cut off the top of the embossed piece so I could fit a burlap roof on. The tree is - I believe - a Cheery Lynn Die and is an RAK from Precious Kitty. Thanks so much, Jan.
The door hinges are spellbinders die cuts and are clock hands, and the doorknob is a window out of a Tim Holtz Cityscape die. The door itself is a piece of the same CS as the house, but inked and run through the cuttlebug.
On the roof peak is a die cut spellbinders button from the same set as the clock hands and it's tied on with twine that frayed all over the place. The black sheep is an RAK from Gabalot. Thanks, Gabby! and I thought the place needed flowers so stuck on the Primas. I bet the little people built it the same way I did - with found objects. I love it to pieces. I hope you do too.

I told you last week, you truly are a woman of substance.....now you are building houses!!! This is without a doubt one of the cutest cards I have EVER seen Carol. I am the first of many to put this in my Favs, pin it and ring the local newspaper to advise there is a new paper artist in town. Can you feel how much I love it!!!!!

You have the neatest ideas ... I was hoping yours would already be up before mine, so I could get an idea from you, as I knew you would have one. LOL I love the way you put this all together - so brilliant!!

OMG..Carol..this is AMAZING!! I'm so glad you liked Salley's site and found a wonderful inspiration piece. I love everything about this..the burlap roof (brilliant), the tiny hinge details, the flowers on the roof, the little sheep, and the distressed brick and wood. You really went all out on this ..it's a masterpiece and I don't blame you for wanting to hang on to it! :)
