This is my card for the LOVEFEST2014I challenge "Die Crazy" - to create a project that uses at least one die, from any company you want.
I have to admit, I'm a die-holic, although you can't tell it from this card. But less-is-more seemed to work better with the wonderful sentiment stamp I bought yesterday. Too bad there wasn't a matching die for it - I had to suck it up and fussy cut it after stamping with VersaMark and heat embossing with detail white ep. I attached it to the patterned paper, cut the layer using SB A2 Matting Basics A, and die cut the SB Delights Poppy. I attached the layer to the base, using the die cut piece as a guide to lining up the unattached left corner. I took the die cut back out, smooshed it with VersaMark, applied Perfect Pearls and glued it in the negative space. It looked pretty, but didn't give the color intensity I wanted, so I cut the die in deep green and a mottled red cs. I glued the green piece down and added blooms cut from the red piece. Now I'm happy with it.
As always, thanks for looking!
