I have to admit when I saw today's site filled with intricate, detailed and dimensional art, I was overwhelmed....and in awe.....and thought I would "pass". But after looking at other cards in the IC gallery, my thoughts changed to...."I can do that".
I had been intrigued by a technique that Heather Nichols presented on her blog and decided to try it using the colors of this piece of art.

I'm glad you reconsidered doing a card today. I admire the colors that the artist uses in her pieces..they're just so yummy. You sure got the color scheme nailed in your card..your layering of inks is brilliant...it sure makes for one stunning card! :)
