Don't judge me too harshly, this is my first attempt at making a card with modern script calligraphy - I recently got Molly Suber Thorpe's book Modern Calligraphy and a few dip nibs and have tried my hand at it - I LOOOOOOVE practicing so I think I'll stick at it and see if I can develop a much more loose, flowing style like Molly's or like the fonts by Emily Lime Designs - this is a phrase from Psalm 147:4. The stars are cut using SNSS Star Dies and stitched to the panel.

Just beautiful and you did a great job with the calligraphy. You're right to keep it up.

Oooooh, Bridget!! While I love, love your stitched stars, I've over the moon crazy about your beautiful calligraphy - sigh. Gosh, you did such an awesome job for a first time. Before I read your description I thought it was a stamp. Oh please do some more for us - pleeease. : )

Beautiful use of your font...we used the same verse with two totally different cards! Your card is amazing with the awesome colors!
ETA: I just re-read your description...you did that by hand!! Amazing....wish I could do it! You don't even need more practice, Bridget! Fantastic calligraphy and placement!
