It was too hard to photograph my storage shelves, so I have popped a few boxes on the kitchen bench so you can see.
These are unused pizza boxes purchased for $1 eac at local craft store. They measure 13.25" x 13.5" x 1.5" (33.5cm x 34.5cm x 3.5cm), perfect for storing 12 x 12 paper even with the brand strip attached. I also store ongoing projects/cards etc in a pizza box until they are finished.
The little bucket is what I use on my craft desk for rubbish. I kept loosing die cuts, daubers etc off the edge of my desk, I always found them in the rubbish bin or bag next to my desk. I no longer have a big bin near my desk, I jus use this little bucket and empty it when I pack up. I plan on decorating it "one" day. LOL.
The other storage that I love are the zuttered envelope books I made for my metal dies. I meet with a craft group weekly and it was always a drag to either take half my craft room with me, or not have anything at hand.
I have a floral and fauna book, building (windows doors etc), flourishes/doilies, other. The covers represent the theme.
Each envelope contains 2 dies, the one I have shown here is large window, on the back of this envelop is a picture of another die. I cut the display panel of the original packaging and stick it on the envelope. The die sits loose inside along with several actual die cuts. I have a rule that i never just cut one thing, if I am cutting a tree, i cut as many as I can get from the paper. A terrific stash builds up over time.
I do a lot of die cutting on cream or white cardstock and colour with ink/copics/gellatos etc.
Thank you for looking.
EDIT: I forgot to say these boxes just sit in a standard 11" (28cm) book shelf. They just hang over a little bit

I'm glad those pizza boxes are new and unused. I was worried about your stuff getting full of pizza. So, do you get the cravings for pizza seeing those boxes? That's a pretty neat idea and pretty original I think. :>)

My thoughts exactly when I first looked at your picture before reading your deets. I was thinking you sure eat a LOT of pizza :-) Brilliant idea to use these for storage and I love the idea of a separate receptacle for your leftovers. I am almost positive the smallest of my fancy hearts went out with the trash last week (already picked up :-(
