I decided to participate in this year’s Splitcoaststampers Love Fest 2014 and was inspired to create a card using Doodling for the LoveFest2014c Challenge.
I used to draw all the time but have to admit since I have been so focused on stamping and cardmaking, that I have not created any original art in approx. 10 years. I have been feeling the urge to watercolor and create my original pen and ink drawings again, so who knows, maybe this challenge will get me started.
I decided that to draw my beautiful Maine Coon (nicknamed “Queenie”) and used a photo to sketch from- again, this was a very quick sketch so please do not judge me too harshly.
I have more details along with free instructions on My Blog
Thanks again for looking- hope you can join in on the Love Fest Challenges :-)

Ladies, you have humbled me so...thank you for all of your sweet comments! I started stamping years ago since I loved the beautiful line art stamps and I could give away more artwork than if I drew it (most of my drawings would take a week or more to create). I have been praying about painting and drawing again and you have truly blessed me with your kind comments- hugs to all of you!
