I enjoyed the layout of the tall panel and tried to emulate that in my cards. Please join us and take the challenge of being inspired by West Elm today.

Thank you for your kind comments and requests for the technique - see below:
The Technique will surprise you I bet:
First I cut a piece of black mat board and cut it down to a size I thought would work on my notecard and with the stamp I selected. Then I cut out a piece of vellum an inch wider on all sides. I colored the vellum using a sponge with a little broken china and saffire distressed inks, then I took gold stickles and rubbed the glitter glue onto the vellum with my finger. I waited 30 minutes for that to dry (I did the other card while I waited). Once dry, I flipped it over and stamped just the top set of branches from the Penny Black stamp (winter berries) which was inked using Picket Fence distressed paint and spritzed with a little bit of water. After the paint dried (about 5 minutes), I wrapped the vellum around a piece of midnight muse paper - my focal point was done and I was so happy with it because I felt it had the variations and light effects that the inspiration piece would have! Finally, I just mounted that onto the black mat board, added the sentiment, and mounted the board in the center of the note card stationery.
The tiny word on the bottom came from an old set of Melody Ross Soul Food Words (..but I have learned to replicate them with grunge board and my typewriter.)

Tell us about how you created this extremely unique and gorgeous panel! I also always like the little word tiles - where do you get those? I love your work, Audrie.
