I tried another Heather T tutorial and I must say I have such a respect for her. Her fabulous card can be found here. What she can do in 15 minutes takes me 2 days. After a series of experiments and senior moments I finally finished. I didn't have the die for the shadow. I have since learned that masking and reflection techniques do not go hand in hand. In order to do it, I masked the upper portion of the card and stamped the reflection in full black. I then scanned it and lightened it. I printed on a full sheet of paper. I stamped the image on a piece of acetate and lined up the top portion of the image. With the acetate in place I masked the lower portion, positioned the stamp positioner and slid out the acetate. It finally worked two days later.
Thanks for looking.

I honestly like yours better than HT's, as lovely as hers is. It's so subtle and serene. I think your use of scanning and lightening created a beautiful "reflection" of the vines as if on snow. A clever work-around with a beautiful result.
Two days to make a card is fast in my universe! This one was well worth the time. Really lovely!

Very creative and clever!!! Nancy, I think you have made your own technique and it is so beautiful!!! I would have never thought to copy it off and lighten it. Your soft background is so lovely too! So very pretty!!!

Another beautifully "simple" card. By reading your discription it was in no way simple to make, but the end result has such a nice uncluttered look. Love the light greys and the reflectionn came out supurbe.
