This is always fun - Mary gives us a choice of colors to choose from, and I chose summer starfruit, smoky slate and soft sky. I even ate dessert this time - a nautical themed cardÂ….I did the old retiform technique where you make a pattern around a main image with inks and then you use post it notes to mask and you stamp each little section and then burnish ink onto each section - so much fun!! Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!!

Wow, Karen what an awesome technique! I love the bits of image that you used and the brightness of the Starfruit with your soft blue & grey. Gorgeous card, thanks for your inspiration.

absolutely AMAZING!! the background you created with the techinque is just stunning... i'm not big on summer starfruit as a color but the way you have used it on the card is fabulous!

FAB card, Karen! Wonderful way to subtly incorporate the challenge colors using this great technique, that is also new to me, as well. Like all the stamps. To me, it's kind of like an awesome, quilted collage.

Love the bg you created with the colors and the various nautical/sailing images...really lovely. Your whole card has a vintage "Old World" look......perfect masculine card.
