If you have been wanting to try mixed media the SNSS February release stamp set, Bloom & Grow has a beautiful soft floral image with some wonderful sentiments. And coupled with our Music Background stamp - a perfect choice for this technique
My first experiment with a Gelli Plate. I'm in love!
I applied acrylic paint in two colors on the Gelli plate with my brayer (I did not cover the entire plate). I pulled my print and let it dry. Then stamped the new February release stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps (SNSS), called, Bloom & Grow (both image and sentiment). I also used a past stamp set called, Music Background. Once dried, I laid down a stencil and applied some Viva Inka Gold and stamped a small leaf pattern randomly with Golden light acrylic paint in two colors (beige and gold). After all was dry I applied some gesso which gave a nice soft look. The gesso really softened the Ranger Distress Ink (Barn Door).

This is such a piece of he-ART, Susie - using different sets like this with such a beautiful result takes talent, and you've got it in spades! I love the softness and use of colour especially - and of course the message!
