A week late for the 'horse' challenge, but as it turns out, I can also address this week's challenge to colour something, which I did with paints. I started out by stamping the horse image twice, once on computer paper and cutting it out for a mask. Then I stamped with Peacock Feathers on a paper that I had spritzed with water. As it turned out, there was also a little of the vintage photo ink left on the stamp, so I got a bit of a mix of colours. I cut this out too. I masked the horse on the image panel, then painted the background, being inspired by a Santa Fe painter named Barbara Meikle. I just love her work....it is so colourful! after dry, I adhered the cut out image of the horse over the stamped one. Then I dry embossed the card base with stars, adhered the image and added a strip of sentiment. I'm sorry I don't remember the company that made this unmounted horse stamp that I have had for several years.

Talk about Art(with a captial "A")...this is incredible, Ina. Truly vibrant in color and design. Love how your horse has a watercolored look and the bg...well, stupendous doesn't cover it.
