Our challenge today was to color. I used a piece of mixed media paper and applied the broken china distress stain and then spritzed with water. I did this for the fancy edge, too. Next, I stamped the butterflies in versa mark and embossed in black. Then I colored them with only orange and then randomly painted some acrylic paint of the butterflies. Some handquilled roses and leaves to finish it.

Fabulous mixed media card! I love the rich blue for the bg and the butterflies really stand out embossed in the black and colored in with the orange. Awesome quilled flowers as accent on this beauty, too!

Gorgeous and uplifting card, Pam. Love the yellow-orange butterflies against the vibrant turquoise bg....really makes a statement. The embossing on your butterflies just glistens in your photo and adds the texture of "gloss".
