I created this card for the first challenge at the Operation Write Home blog over Super Bowl weekend. I used the Broncos team colors and a bucking bronc image.
I sponged inks over punched and torn paper scraps for masks. I also sponged ink along the edge of the card base that had been embossed with a texture plate.
The star punch was scored on the back then slightly pinched together to give it dimension.
Thanks for looking =)

Great card Heather with wonderful textures and colors...also makes me want to dig this stamp out and give it some ink ;) Great job masking and creating that background! ((hugs)) Rebecca

Wow, what an amazing card. I love the sponged bg, and the colors suit this card to a tee. The star is super, great idea to score and pinch it up, this added great dimension. Love the bucking bronco image, and the dust flourishes, along with the sunset in the bg. I just love everything about this fantastic card. Into my faves. tfs.
