This week for the tea party, we are celebrating a very special "young" lady's birthday. Rose will be 103 years young. We are to bring flowers and/or children holding flowers, as she used to draw children. I made two cards for this challenge and I still have not decided which one to send. Both cards are the same, the stamped images being the only difference. I stamped my images in Black Stazon and colored with SU markers. Cut them and their mat using my Nesties Rectangles. I used two different patterns of my dp for the bg and where they came together I tied my two colors of ribbon. At the bottom I used two rows of my border punch, one in Very Vanilla and the other in River Rock. I them popped up my image on top of the ribbon treatment. TFL today ladies and one of these will be off to Rose............just as soon as I figure out which one to send

Very sweet card Mary! Tough choice, I am sure she would love either!!! Love the way you layered your lacey borders at the bottom and have that lovely set of ribbons at the top!

SO wonderfully done and country sweet. both would be lovely for Rose. but if you are like me and needing help with a decision the young girl picking flowers I am thinking would be neat as she used to draw children on card, but either way both are beautiful...LOVE them...TFS..:0)

Oh my goodness Mary, both of your cards are gorgeous. I think you should send the little girl holding flowers as Rose was a artist who painted children. The other beautiful card would be perfect for ANY occasion, you could keep it for a "stash" request. Both cards are great my friend.

They are both gorgeous but if it was me, knowing she used to draw children, she would probably appreciate the one with the little girl more. Whatever you decide you are ahead one fabulous card for the next special person in your life.

Either would work and yes, except for images, are twins. Great choice of colors and layering. And we were said bring children if possible and you have and have the roses also.

Both of your cards are beautiful. I'm a little partial to hollyhocks but I'm sure Rose would love either! TFS
