Since it is a snow day and I can't get out of my drive at the moment, I thought that I would make another card for today's challenge.....I mean what's a snowed in girl gonna do, right?
After studying Sallie's card,http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2480284 , I tried my hand at shadowing some to make the banner look like it is popped off the card. Don't know if I succeeded......if not, Oh well, I'll try, try again.....on this snowy day! Ain't got nothin' else to do! LOL!
The background is really hard to see, but I stamped SU! En Francise in Bashful Blue while masking the oval and banner. I sponged the oval using a negative oval mask and a mask for the banner. I actually stamped the banner on the cs first. Then did all the other stuff. Inside of the oval is the pretty flourish thingie from SU! Bliss stamped with white ink......It didn't turn out bright, just a shadow sorta. I added the gems and the gel pen outlines around the banner and oval. Off to do another card.........
