I am a little late to the teaparty this week. I think I must of been on the slow boat. My second stitch card. I have downloaded a few different patterns but it takes me a long time to stitch.

Kim!! What a strange coincidence. I've been meaning to drop you a pm for a while to see how you were doing - I've seen occasional uploads so I knew you were still around ;-).
Lovely to see you at the tea-party this week, and what a lovely lighthouse you brought along. You're barely late at all - and with all that stitching I'm not surprised that this took a while to make. The waves are fantastic, but the stitches are remarkably effective for the birds.

Wow, as Sabrina said welcome back as just had wrote to a friend that you and a few have been missing in action. I sew but not on cards and just to mend things since kids are all out on own now. Your card came out very nice and like the like flourish out front of the cute lighthouse, was worth being late as you called it but is not late at all.

So glad to see you today Kim. I'm always happy when I see one of your cards posted here. That stitching is amazing and so unique amongst the other cards.

With all that extra work involved with hand stitching, I would not call you late at all, Kim!! So precise and eye catching the waves are with the extra lines - so pretty!!

With all the extra time involved in hand stitching a card, I would hardly call this late - seems you are well on your way to learning another really special craft for your cards!!

You're doing a wonderful job with the paper embroidery, Kim! I was looking through my books to see if I had a lighthouse pattern, no such luck! I'll have to find this one for future use! I love the flourish as the waves crashing onto the rocky shoal!
Keep up the fantastic work!!
