It is the time of the month where we teapotters get to "tickle" each other and we were asked to create a card with a lighthouse on it. I do not have any nautical stamps and was going to go down the digi line but, instead, googled images of lighthouses and when I saw this absolute beauty - well - I had to go with it. It is such a stunning picture, IMO, I felt it needed to just be mounted and stand on its own.
I think it took me longer to get the brightness & contrast worked out than to actually make the card!!
I don't have one particular story about a lighthouse but my DH and I love the beach, and our beautiful coastline, so over the years have visited many of the lighthouses up and down the east coast of Australia.

WOW, what a gorgeous image. I would love to be there, and not just because it's currently snowing outside my window. You've displayed it perfectly -- why try to embellish something that lovely?

What an ingenious idea for your lighthouse! What a beauty you chose too. I know what you mean about adjusting the photo too and hoping the printer sees it the same as the computer does, which is almost never. Beautifully done.
