This card is made for both Monday challenges today. I think it's fairly easy to say that I used the colors for the clean and simple technique. If you look very closely, you can see that I engraved a pattern with a knife on some left over rubber. I also cut it out in a pattern. It's a good thing we don't have to make all of our stamps or I would be in big trouble. Thanks for looking!!

I saw from your comment on another card that you didn't think your stamp had turned out too well but I love the look. It makes me think of Egyptian paintings - I see a bust of a lady with a tip-tilted nose and red hat, and the texture you added makes it look even more like a fresco. Fab sentiment stamp too!

Oh, I see the Egyptian lady Sabrina mentioned, but when I first looked, I thought it was a skull with the mouth open. What a neat pattern...love the colors too, Kim. Great card!

Kim this is really so interesting that I can't take my eyes off it! I have spent longer here than ever... loving the texture and detail of your hand engraved stamp and how perfectly the sentiment goes along with the artsy feel! Be Creative.... you are!!! I do see the design Sabrina is talking about... but my first thought was a turtle, and I found a pattern on the red shell... I was loving it then.... but when I saw another whole different design in it I just was in love! Great job!!!
