I'm up way too late but I couldn't resist CASEing a card from the Featured Stamper's gallery. Donidoodle has a great gallery with lots of CAS beauties. I loved this pretty leaf card. I thought I could throw together a quick card, but of course just because the look is clean and simple doesn't mean it is simple to do!!!! I actually did the stepped-up version of this card first, but I uploaded this one first. I started by inking up my woodgrain with Smoky Slate thumped with Island Indigo. I tore a mask from a large post it note and laid the reverse down and stamped through it. I then laid the mask over the stamped woodgrain to stamp the log section. I inked up my leaves and stamped over these. I used my stamp positioner to get the sentiment just where I wanted it. I was going to go completely clean, but I smudged a fingerprint on the right hand side. I cut my piece down a few sizes but still had a bit of the smudge left so I added some spatter in stamped off Indigo. I had to sit on my hands to not add some sponging along the edges.

Love this! The splatter is the perfect effect and one of my fave things to see. I hear you about the smudge...my heart flower top layer on my card is cut a bit smaller than usual due some random ink mark near the right edge.
