This is for my son's birthday card. Yikes, he is going to be 17 on Monday! Oh my, the emotions that sweep over me at the thought!
He loves Dr. Who so here is my nod to the Dr. Who quote, "Bow Ties are Cool". I hope I did it well enough that he likes it. Dr. Who's tie is in the red family but I wanted to play along with Linda's WT challenge to use a warm or cool color depending on our weather.
Ok, so.......in comparison to the deep freeze further north of us our temps might be considered mild, but for the peach state, 12 with -1 wind chill is ridiculously cold and I was out in it this morning!!! I ran errands...the stores were wonderfully empty! giggle!
Linda thanks for the fun challenge! When my young man sees it, I might have to change out the bow to make it a proper "Dr. Who" card but for now here it is in all its coolness!

I love it!!! Teenage boy cards are very hard to make, and you nailed this one perfectly. It's great when you know the young man and his likes. Thanks for giving us this great card for the challenge.

Oh they do grow up so fast! Love your fantastic CAS, masculine card for your son! It has such a clean and neat look. I really like the color you used..but is it a purple with blue under tones or a blue with purple under tones? Either way it is a cool color (wink)!

THIS IS GREAT!!! Yes I meant for the caps to be on. I don't know a thing about Dr. Who but I love the idea of the card and I'm sure Seth will love it too.

You made a great card, and I am pretty sure your son will like it since I have one 16 year old son and one 18 year old son and they would think it is great. Simple cards can be hard to make because even a small error is noticable. Yours is perfect.
